Business Litigation Paralegal

Business Litigation ParalegalA well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Business Litigation Paralegal to join its Fort Worth office. This position will support attorneys handling sophisticated commercial and business litigation matters and will be heavily involved in case management, discovery, document production, and trial preparation. The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of business litigation paralegal experience within a law firm and be comfortable managing multiple complex matters in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.ResponsibilitiesAssist attorneys with all phases of litigation, from case intake through trialDraft, proofread, and format pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and other legal documentsManage complex case files and maintain organized electronic and physical recordsCoordinate document production and e-discovery, including use of litigation databases and platformsAssist with high-volume document reviewConduct factual and legal research under attorney supervisionPrepare deposition summaries, chronologies, exhibits, and trial bindersFile documents with state and federal courts, including e-filingTrack critical deadlines and maintain litigation calendarsCommunicate professionally with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and other partiesAssist attorneys with depositions, hearings, and trials as neededProvide additional litigation support as requiredQualifications3–5+ years of business litigation paralegal experience in a law firm requiredExperience supporting complex commercial/business litigation mattersStrong experience with discovery, document production, and case managementTrial preparation and courtroom experience strongly preferredExperience with e-discovery and litigation support softwareStrong knowledge of state and federal court rules and proceduresProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to independently manage multiple matters and competing deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsProfessional demeanor and ability to handle confidential informationProactive, team-oriented approachAbility to work additional hours during trials and other time-sensitive phases of litigationEducationOne of the following is strongly preferred:Bachelor's degreeParalegal certificate or Associate's degree in Paralegal StudiesCertified Legal Assistant (CLA) designationThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigation paralegal looking to join a highly regarded law firm and work on sophisticated business litigation matters.
