Begin a rewarding contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher supporting elementary students in a dynamic school environment near Englewood, CO. This full-time, onsite role focuses on providing specialized math instruction and dedicated case management for a K-5 caseload. You’ll work closely with a team of passionate educators and paraeducators, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred
• Valid Special Education licensure (or eligibility to obtain per district guidelines)
• Proven experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, especially in elementary settings
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and coordinate a team of 3-4 paraeducators per classroom
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized math instruction and manage educational plans for approximately 10 case-managed students, with direct teaching responsibilities for a class of 20
• Serve as a case manager, collaborating with colleagues and district professionals to address individual student learning goals
• Organize, lead, and support paraeducators to best meet the needs of each student
• Foster a classroom culture of engagement, inclusion, and growth
• Oversee and document student progress, ensuring compliance with IEPs and school procedures
• Participate in a panel interview via Google Meets with district representatives before hire
