Logistics coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory & Logistics Coordinator to oversee and optimize the distribution of critical medical device inventory across our distribution network. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that life-saving implants and surgical instrument sets arrive at their final destination on time for scheduled procedures.

salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Monitor and retrieve loaner and excess inventory from distributors, returning assets to the central facility.
• Coordinate field inventory transfers and collaborate with distribution networks and Regional Sales Managers to ensure timely delivery for surgical procedures.
• Monitor distributor warehouses and notify stakeholders of expired or expiring stock.
• Execute ERP transactions for instrument sets, implant banks, lot transfers, and consigned set replenishment.
• Drive inventory efficiency by recommending and implementing approved process improvements.
• Manage key customer, distributor, and internal relationships, including verifying surgeon/distributor contracts and training status.
• Interface with Quality on complaint handling, recalls, regulatory requirements, and maintain full compliance with SOPs and FDA QSR guidelines.
• Support daily incoming communications, process surgery requests in the ERP system, and participate in rotational weekend on-call coverage.
• Stay updated on product knowledge and policies, performing other duties assigned by management.
