Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on a variety of mental health issues while employing a wellness model that encourages the identification and leveraging of client strengths.

• Implement strategies to manage and improve behavioral challenges in clients, such as anger management techniques, coping mechanisms, and social skills development.

• Effectively collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and multidisciplinary professionals, ensuring comprehensive care for youth and their families.

• Maintain meticulous records of therapy sessions, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to all compliance and documentation standards.

• Participate in ongoing training sessions and monthly meetings to discuss best practices and share insights that promote service excellence.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily engages with a diverse clientele, including youth and families facing psychological challenges, behavioral issues, and relational difficulties. Qualifications\n

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license is mandatory.

• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week, particularly during after-school hours (4-7 pm), to accommodate client schedules.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required for home-based therapy sessions.

• Successful completion of a background check, including fingerprinting, is a condition of employment.

Preferred Experience\n

The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of direct experience in providing therapeutic services. Experience in positive behavior support and the utilization of evidence-based therapeutic techniques is highly desirable. Familiarity with assessment tools and therapeutic modalities relevant to children and families will enhance the candidate's success in this role.
