A premier Los Angeles-based law firm is seeking a corporate attorney with 4–6 years of experience to join its highly regarded M&A and corporate practice. This is an opportunity to work alongside nationally recognized attorneys on sophisticated, high-value transactions for some of the most dynamic companies in technology, entertainment, and life sciences.

Its client base spans early-stage startups, middle-market public companies, private equity funds, investment bankers, and institutional investors.

The Role

As a Corporate Attorney, the successful candidate will:

• Advise emerging growth and middle-market companies on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity financings, and general corporate matters

• Lead and support complex deal execution, including drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, financing documents, and commercial agreements

• Counsel clients on corporate governance, entity formation, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships

• Represent early-stage companies from formation through multiple rounds of venture capital financing

• Work directly with partners and clients on deal strategy, structuring, and execution

• Handle matters with real responsibility — not just support work

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of corporate transactional experience at an Am Law 100/200 firm or a recognized sophisticated boutique

• Demonstrated experience with M&A, venture capital, and private equity transactions is essential

• Experience advising startups and high-growth companies throughout their lifecycle

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school

• California Bar admission (required)

• Strong academic credentials and exceptional drafting skills

• Experience must be from a law firm setting — i n-house experience will not be considered

• Candidates must have continuous private practice experience throughout their career

• BigLaw or elite boutique background required

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $255,000–$305,000 depending on experience

• Bonus: $80,000–$125,000
