Mechanical Engineer with experience in design, development, and testing of wheel motors used in off‑highway vehicles such as construction equipment, agricultural machinery, and mining trucks. Key Job Responsibilities Design and Development 8+ years' experience designing drivetrains for off‑highway vehicles. Utilize CAD software to create detailed design specifications and drawings. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and cost requirements. Testing and Validation Conduct simulations and physical tests to validate wheel motor and drivetrain performance. Analyze test data and make necessary design adjustments. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Project Management Manage project timelines and deliverables. Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to source components. Oversee the production and assembly of prototypes. Technical Support Strong background in gearing and bearing concepts. Provide technical support to manufacturing and service teams. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to wheel motor performance. Prepare technical documentation and reports. Qualifications/Requirements Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience: Previous experience in motor design, preferably in the off‑highway vehicle industry. Skills Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks). Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Knowledge of motor control systems and power electronics. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Desired Attributes Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
