Education: Bachelor’s degree or above (Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Business Administration, or related disciplines preferred). Industry Experience: Proven track record in sales or business development within the Energy Storage (Residential ESS / C&I ESS) or Photovoltaic (PV / Solar) industry in Africa. 0-to-1 Capability: Demonstrated ability to build regional sales networks, channels, and client portfolios from 0 to 1 in the African market. Location & Mobility: Must be based/resident in South Africa (or willing to relocate long-term) and flexible to travel across key African markets as required. Language & Background: Mandarin Chinese as native/fluent working language (for HQ communication) with fluent professional English for local business negotiation. Soft Skills: Strong entrepreneurial spirit, resilience under pressure, excellent negotiation skills, and high self-motivation. 0-to-1 Market Building: Formulate and execute market entry and growth strategies across South Africa and key African regional markets from scratch. Channel & Business Development: Identify, recruit, and manage strategic local distributors, EPCs, system integrators, installer networks, and commercial clients in the PV and energy storage sectors. Sales Target Delivery: Drive sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure; achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets for Residential and C&I ESS products. Market & Competitor Intelligence: Monitor African local energy trends, power grid dynamics, solar policies, and competitor activities to provide strategic feedback for product and pricing strategies. Cross-functional Alignment: Work closely with HQ R&D, product, supply chain, and technical support teams to ensure smooth product compliance, logistics, project delivery, and after-sales service.
