Description What You'll Do

• Conduct standard and intricate laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and moreaccording to established scientific protocols.
• Evaluate test outcomes for precision, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples meticulously for analysis as required.
• Accurately document all procedures, train new personnel or students, and help maintain the highest quality standards within the laboratory.
• Ensure a safe, clean working environment, adhering strictly to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Continuous certification maintenance throughout employment is expected.
