Ensured Care Medical Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic team in Las Vegas, Nevada. Work Environment

This role is situated in an outpatient office environment focused on providing innovative and accessible cardiac care. The facility is designed to facilitate collaboration among healthcare professionals and is equipped with cutting-edge technology to enhance patient outcomes. The work setting allows for direct interaction with patients, fostering a supportive atmosphere for learning, development, and teamwork. You will benefit from a structured schedule, working Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with no calls, nights, or weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with cardiologists to manage a diverse patient population dealing with various cardiovascular conditions.
• Assess and manage patients with chronic conditions including hypertension and high cholesterol through comprehensive evaluations and tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver outpatient services for electrophysiology, providing specialized care to patients with arrhythmias and abnormal electrocardiograms.
• Conduct thorough evaluations and manage acute conditions such as Coronary Artery Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, Peripheral Artery Disease, and Transient Ischemic Attacks.
• Administer stress tests and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.
• Ensure continuity of care by coordinating referrals to specialists within the group, managing follow-ups, and maintaining accurate patient records.
• Engage with patients and their families, providing education on heart health, lifestyle modifications, and medication management.
• Participate actively in team meetings, contributing to case discussions and treatment strategy planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner will primarily engage with adult and geriatric patients requiring advanced cardiac care, with a focus on chronic disease management and preventive cardiology. Patients may present with a variety of conditions ranging from routine hypertension to complex arrhythmias, ensuring that each day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a significant impact on their health.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a focus relevant to cardiology.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing is required.
• Current Nurse Practitioner license and board certification are a must.
• Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring accurate and efficient documentation of patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient cardiology setting is preferred, but all qualified candidates, including new graduate NPs with a strong clinical background, are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of current guidelines and protocols in cardiology is advantageous.
• Experience in stress testing and managing electrophysiology patients is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 180,000 to 200,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a highly competitive salary, our benefits package includes:
