Work Environment

This onsite role is located in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, a hub of diversity and cultural richness. You will be working in various community settings, including homes, health fairs, and other outreach venues. The work schedule typically involves 40 hours a week, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with the possibility of evening clinics until 8:00 p.m. Participation in weekend community outreach events may also be necessary, providing you with opportunities to connect directly with the populations we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough health assessments and screenings to identify medical issues and develop care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions, promoting preventive care options and health education through consistent patient interactions.
• Collaborate with local organizations to design and implement community health education programs aimed at promoting wellness and offering preventive care solutions.
• Advocate for patients’ rights, ensuring they receive culturally sensitive care and support in navigating healthcare systems to improve their access to services.
• Coordinate referrals for specialized services and establish continuity of care, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive follow-up for ongoing health management.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate electronic medical records in adherence to healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
• Engage actively in community events by offering health screenings and educational presentations that empower individuals with knowledge about their health and wellness.
• Stay informed and updated on emerging public health trends, evidence-based practices, and relevant healthcare policies to provide the best care possible.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current certification as a Nurse Practitioner and an active nursing license in the state of Nevada.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, scaled according to your experience and qualifications.
