Position Overview

Belares’ Family Care Center is seeking an Experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this full-time, onsite role, you will leverage your clinical expertise to provide holistic and compassionate care to diverse patient populations. You will engage in direct patient interactions, carry out thorough health assessments, and manage ongoing treatment regimens while striving to enhance patient education and community health outcomes.

Work Environment

Situated within a hospital setting, Belares’ Family Care Center provides a collaborative work atmosphere, enabling healthcare professionals to work together efficiently for optimum patient outcomes. Our team-oriented environment encourages professional development and requires active participation in ongoing training and community outreach. Our healthcare providers work scheduled hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evening clinic hours until 8:00 p.m. and some weekend involvement for community health events.

Key Responsibilities

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Performing comprehensive health assessments and screenings for individuals and families in the Las Vegas community.
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions, focusing on preventive care and overall health promotion.
• Working collaboratively with community organizations and healthcare stakeholders to develop and implement effective health education programs tailored to community needs.
• Providing culturally sensitive care while advocating for patients’ rights and ensuring equitable access to healthcare services.
• Coordinating referrals and follow-up care to foster continuity and quality of care for all patients.
• Maintaining meticulous and accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and organization standards.
• Participating actively in health fairs and outreach events aimed at raising health awareness and providing essential health screenings for underserved populations.
• Staying abreast of community health trends, evidence-based practices, and relevant regulations to continuously improve care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse patient demographic, including families and individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds. You will be responsible for addressing a spectrum of health issues while providing direct care in an empathetic and supportive manner. The goal is to promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of each patient by offering tailored healthcare solutions and unwavering support.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• An active Nevada state nursing license.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• A Master’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with a diverse patient population.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technology.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience, preferably in community health or public health settings.
• Experience in mentoring staff and collaborating closely with healthcare teams.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement community health programs.

Compensation and Benefits
