Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial patient histories and comprehensive physical examinations tailored to women's health.
• Develop, document, and communicate individualized plans of care, continuously evaluating and updating as necessary.
• Perform daily patient rounds, ensuring that all individual needs are met with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures, leveraging both technology and clinical expertise.
• Engage in regular consultations with attending physicians and nursing staff to enhance collaborative care and improve patient outcomes.
• Prepare detailed discharge summaries, including prescriptions and referrals, ensuring patients understand post-discharge instructions fully.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to protocol development that enhances patient care in our facility.
• Uphold all responsibilities as essential functions of the role under the Americans with Disabilities Act, ensuring compliance and commitment to our patients.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a Nurse Practitioner program.
• National Board Certification in women's health or a related specialty area.
• Current Nurse Practitioner license in Nevada, as well as a Registered Professional Nurse license in the state.
• Demonstrated ability to engage in collaborative practice agreements and familiarity with established protocols.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience in a nurse practitioner role focusing on women’s health.
• Experience in assisted living or geriatric care settings is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and foster a supportive environment.
• Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and telehealth technology.

Compensation and Benefits

Harmony Women's Clinic offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $220,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
