Work Environment

The role is located in our modern outpatient office in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Your work hours will typically run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., a consistent 40-hour workweek that allows you to maintain work-life balance while contributing positively to employees’ health.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of employees’ health status through comprehensive evaluations that include taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, and administering health screenings tailored to workplace needs.
• Diagnose and treat work-related injuries and illnesses efficiently and effectively, providing immediate care and appropriate referrals when advanced treatment is necessary.
• Design, implement, and evaluate health promotion programs that target specific workplace issues, such as ergonomics, stress management, and lifestyle changes to enhance overall employee wellness.
• Collaborate closely with employers and safety teams to ensure compliance with occupational health regulations, maintaining a safe and health-promoting work environment.
• Provide continuous education on injury prevention techniques, ergonomic practices, and other health-related topics to both employees and management to reduce workplace hazards.
• Maintain precise and confidential medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that all employee health information is securely recorded and accessible only to authorized personnel.
• Participate actively in workplace hazard assessments, offering insights and recommendations to management on strategies for risk reduction and improvement of health policies.
• Remain informed about the latest developments in occupational health guidelines and practices, ensuring that our facility adheres to current regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Active and unrestricted state nursing license in Nevada.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with a strong preference for experience in occupational health or a related setting.

Compensation and Benefits
