Work Environment

You will be working onsite in our Assisted Living Facility located in North Las Vegas, Nevada, a vibrant community known for its cultural diversity and rich lifestyle. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents, including medical history and physical examinations, to diagnose acute and chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic tests such as blood work and imaging studies, and prescribe appropriate medications and therapies as needed.
• Engage in patient and family education to promote understanding of health conditions, medication regimens, and post-discharge care plans.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team rounds to discuss patient progress and adjust care plans, ensuring optimal health outcomes.
• Document patient interactions and care plans accurately in electronic medical records (EMR), maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhancement in care services and implementing established best practices.
• Stay current on relevant developments in healthcare practices, regulations, and advancements that could impact patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Primary Nurse Practitioner, you will be primarily serving older adults residing in our assisted living facility, many of whom may have complex medical needs related to aging, chronic diseases, and mobility issues. You'll play a pivotal role in addressing both their physical and emotional health, ensuring they receive personalized care and support that enhances their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner certification is required.
• An active and unrestricted nursing license in the state of Nevada.
• A Bachelor's degree in Nursing; a Master's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of four years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with at least two years of experience in an assisted living or long-term care environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaborative relationships with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Proficient critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate complex healthcare scenarios.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in geriatric care or a primary care clinic setting.

Compensation and Benefits

• The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 120,000 to USD 220,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
