Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients’ pain conditions thoroughly, utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that align with patients' health goals and challenges, considering emotional and psychosocial factors.
• Administer pain management therapies, which may include medication management (opioids and non-opioids), interventional procedures like nerve blocks, and complementary therapies such as physical therapy or acupuncture.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patient safety and optimizing outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, physical therapists, and mental health professionals, to provide cohesive and comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families about pain management strategies, fostering empowerment and self-management skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population in Las Vegas, including individuals dealing with chronic pain, acute pain conditions, and complex pain syndromes. Qualifications

• Valid Nursing Practitioner certification and active nursing license in the state of Nevada.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required; a Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience, particularly in pain management, community health, or public health settings.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build trust with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a pain management or chronic pain specialty setting is highly desirable.
