Material Recovery Specialist

The Material Recovery Specialist is a full-time position responsible for the recovery of rejected raw materials and finished products to maximize efficiency and eliminate unnecessary waste, while ensuring conformance to the quality standards of Morton Buildings, Inc. Responsibilities Performs and records routine inspections on lumber, coated metal, and other construction materials; identifying and removing defects using various tools such as saws, sanders, shears, etc. to salvage damaged material and fulfill quality requirements. Coordinates and documents the disposition of materials with appropriate staff members, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and MBI standards and specifications. Stages incoming and outgoing rejected material as appropriate. Performs other duties as assigned.
