Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Rise and Recover Counseling Services, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Advocating for clients by helping them navigate community resources, social services, and support systems that promote their overall health and well-being.

• Providing immediate crisis intervention and support when needed to ensure client safety and emotional stability, particularly in high-stress situations.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential, and up-to-date client records, progress notes, and treatment plans according to legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and educational staff to deliver seamless care tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Providing education to clients on coping mechanisms, effective communication skills, and self-care practices to empower them in managing their mental health and achieving personal goals.

• Engaging in community outreach activities to build networks and enhance resources for clients, thereby strengthening referral pathways and community partnerships.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with clients in an outpatient school setting, addressing a wide range of psychosocial and emotional issues impacting children and adolescents. Your work will contribute to helping young individuals navigate their academic environments while effectively managing mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges.

Qualifications\n

Candidates are required to meet the following qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of four years of experience in the mental health field, specifically as a social worker.
