Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will engage in the following primary activities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients, ensuring thorough understanding of their individual circumstances.

• Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs, incorporating a variety of therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, and internal standards for practice.
\n
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide integrated care and maximize positive patient outcomes.

• Participate in case consultation meetings and peer reviews to share insights and improve clinical practices;

• Educate clients and their families on available treatments, community resources, and strategies for coping with mental health issues.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in mental health treatment, applying new knowledge to enhance therapy effectiveness.

• Manage a full caseload of patients while adhering to professional ethics and NASW guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on adolescents and their families, addressing issues ranging from anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics. You will tailor your approach to meet the unique needs of each client and help mitigate the challenges faced by students both academically and socially.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• A valid LCSW license to practice in the state of Georgia.
\n
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, specifically providing psychotherapy in a school or community-based setting.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of various therapeutic techniques, particularly those that are evidence-based and solution-focused.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills necessary for effective teamwork.

• Ability to manage time effectively while balancing a busy caseload and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with youth populations and a deep understanding of school-based mental health challenges.

• Certifications in specific therapeutic modalities, such as TF-CBT or EMDR, will be viewed favorably.
