Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and evaluations to determine the psychosocial needs of students, using established protocols and evidence-based practices.

• Develop and implement individualized therapeutic interventions, including counseling services and crisis interventions, tailored to each student’s unique circumstances.

• Maintain an active caseload, ensuring timely documentation of all interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with educational staff, mental health professionals, and family members to develop effective aftercare plans to transition students successfully from services.

• Provide training and resources to school staff on mental health awareness, intervention strategies, and support mechanisms aimed at cultivating a nurturing school environment.

• Research, refer, and advocate for relevant community resources and services that facilitate students’ access to mental health support, nutrition, childcare, and other essential services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents experiencing a range of challenges, from behavioral issues to emotional disturbances. Many of the students referred for services may be facing transitions, crises, or systemic barriers impacting their educational success. By working closely with the school community, you will help to identify early signs of distress, provide immediate support, and facilitate access to ongoing mental health services when necessary.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program is required.

• Active and unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a behavioral health setting, particularly in roles that involve direct interaction with students or similar populations.
\n
• Strong clinical skills in crisis intervention, therapeutic assessment, and case management, with an emphasis on ethical practices and confidentiality.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with students, families, and school personnel.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 120,000 – 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
