This position is designed for a remote work setting, allowing you to connect and interact with clients from the comfort of your home. You will have access to a dedicated administrative assistant, enabling you to focus your efforts where they matter most: your clients. Additionally, our state-of-the-art Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system streamlines documentation, allowing clinicians to spend less time on administrative tasks and more time engaging with patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough initial assessments of patients to comprehensively evaluate their mental health needs and determine appropriate interventions.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect patients' distinctive circumstances, goals, and therapeutic needs.

  • Utilize evidence-based practices to diagnose mental health conditions, conduct individual therapy sessions, and facilitate group therapy for students and families.

  • Regularly monitor patient progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary to ensure the greatest efficacy of care.

  • Provide crisis intervention when required and facilitate referrals to additional resources or emergency services as necessary.

  • Maintain meticulous clinical documentation that complies with all state and federal regulations while also ensuring that records are easily accessible for treatment planning.

  • Collaborate with educators, school administrators, and other mental health professionals to create holistic support plans and foster a culture of mental wellness within the educational environment.

  • Participate in regular team meetings and professional development to continuously enhance your skills and integrate new methodologies into your practice.

The primary focus of this role will be on students and their families within the school setting. You will engage with a diverse demographic of young individuals dealing with various issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and family dynamics. Your personalized approach and understanding of the adolescent experience will be essential in fostering a supportive environment where students feel safe to express their challenges and seek help.

  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of California is required for this position.

  • Must possess an active, unrestricted license to practice as a mental health therapist.
