Employment Advertisement Full Charge Bookkeeper / Accounting Coordinator Supporting The STAT Group Companies Operations Location: Houma, Louisiana Employment Type: Full-Time The STAT Group is seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper / Accounting Coordinator to support the accounting operations of growing companies: STAT Waste Stream Services (SWSS) and Integrated Treatment Systems & Supplies (ITS). This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where accounting, operations, job costing, and financial reporting all come together. You will work closely with ownership, management, our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialists, and external CPA support to help maintain accurate financial records, oversee accounting processes, and provide meaningful financial information that supports business decisions. Responsibilities but not limited to; Coordinate accounting functions Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports. Maintain general ledger accuracy and reconciliations. Support month-end and year-end close activities. Maintain WIP and job cost reporting. Inventory & Assets oversight Review A/P and A/R activities and aging reports. Assist with cash flow reporting and budgeting. Coordinate with operations and administration regarding project accounting. Support payroll and HR-related accounting functions. Qualifications 5+ years accounting or bookkeeping experience. QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise experience preferred. Strong Excel skills. Experience preparing financial statements. Job costing experience strongly preferred. Multi-company accounting experience preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
