As a Software Engineer Sr within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Farmers Branch, TX.Technical Experience Core Engineering• Advanced Java expertise o Core Javao Spring Boot microserviceso JUnit, mocking frameworks• RESTful API design and implementation• Source control using GitIdentity, Security & APIs• Authentication and authorization services• OAuth 2.0 and JWT security models• API management platforms (Apigee)• Strong understanding of modern security best practicesObservability & Monitoring (Key Addition)• Strong experience improving application observability in enterprise environments• Hands on experience with Dynatrace for APM, performance analysis, and root cause investigation• Experience using Elastic Search / Elastic Stack for centralized logging, querying, and correlation• Understanding of distributed systems monitoring, metrics, and tracingDevOps & Delivery• CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent)• Enterprise DevOps best practices• Supporting deployments and diagnostics across multiple environmentsLeadership• Experience leading and influencing engineers without direct authority• Proven ability to resolve complex production, performance, and reliability issuesPNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance.
