Key Responsibilities Whitecap Search is seeking a meticulous and detail-focused professional to become an integral part of our vibrant Operations team. Your role will be pivotal in handling key middle office and post-trade activities such as trade support, reconciliation processes, and custody services. Beyond daily operations, you'll participate in projects that drive new business opportunities, enhance operational efficiency, and bolster our risk management strategies in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Trade Support & Reconciliation: Perform trade and position reconciliations across multiple asset classes and counterparties in a fast-paced setting. Manage admin positions, transaction discrepancies, and cash reconciliation exceptions. Ensure timely matching and settlement processes across various markets and asset classes. Asset Servicing: Track and validate corporate action events for global equities and fixed income, including complex scenarios like mergers and bankruptcies. Coordinate voluntary event workflows with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with controls. Handle inquiries regarding reorganizations, income events, and class actions from internal teams and external partners. Process Enhancement & Platform Development: Support operational and corporate actions analysis for business expansion and platform development. Evaluate operational platforms to enhance straight-through processing and identify efficiency gains. Work with tech teams to automate manual processes, improve data integrity, and reinforce controls. Qualifications At least 4 years of experience in middle office, trade support, or asset servicing within financial institutions. Deep understanding of the trade lifecycle and post-trade processing, especially in equities. Knowledge of global corporate action processes, both voluntary and mandatory. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Proven ability to cultivate cross-functional relationships and thrive in a team-oriented environment. Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field with a strong academic background.
