Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations across a range of ages, employing both standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Create tailored treatment plans that aim to meet both immediate and long-standing communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions tailored to focus on communication, language mastery, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
• Partner closely with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and families to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Provide educational support to patients and families to enhance therapeutic progress outside of clinical hours.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions, maintaining seamless care throughout the patient's recovery journey.
• Keep meticulous records that comply with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and peer discussions to stay updated with best practices in the field.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Licensing & Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within the first 30 days post-hire.

• Knowledge of evidence-based practices suitable for all age groups, with proficiency in both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
