Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.BENEFITS COORDINATORRESPONSIBILITIES:Provide support with administration of employee benefit programs, such as medical, dental, vision, life, accident and disability insurance, and retirement plans, including new hire orientation and annual benefits open enrollmentAssist, advise, and counsel employees on day-to-day benefit-related questions (via email, phone, walk-ups, and drop-in sessions)Maintain integrity of eligibility enrollments within WorkdayPartner with our payroll department to ensure accuracy of benefit deductionsOther duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:Employee perks administration, employee services, and company wellness initiativesRelocation administrationCommuter benefits administrationLeaves of absence (LOA) administrationWorkers’ compensation administrationOnsite medical and dental clinicsOnsite preschoolEmployee perquisites and wellness initiativesCommuter benefitsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree6+ months of administrative experience (internship experience qualifies)PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:2+ years of experience in employee benefits, leave of absence, or workers’ compensationExperience with Workday or other HRIS systemAbility to use independent judgment and prioritize workEffective verbal, written and presentation communication skillsDemonstrated proficiency with MS Office, especially ExcelAttention to detail and commitment to qualityHighly collaborative style and strong team orientationHighly organized with ability to manage multiple high-priorities in a fast-paced, loosely structured environmentAbility to consistently meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlinesBilingual in SpanishADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:This is not a remote or hybrid position and will require relocation if not already local to the Hawthorne, CA areaPosition requires ability to work overtime hours and weekends when neededMust be willing travel to other SpaceX sites (up to 15%)COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:Pay Range:Level 1: $27.00Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
