Caregiver (HHA/CNA)

Job Description Home Care Worker Job Summary Cares for elderly, disabled, convalescent or handicapped at individual's home or day-time residence. General Accountabilities Assists with daily activities at individual's home. Performs tasks including but not limited to making beds, doing laundry, preparing meals, washing dishes, ironing, cleaning, bathing, dressing, etc. Meal preparation meals Errands and grocery shopping. Helps patient up and down stairs, in and out of bed, etc. Medication reminders Accompanies ambulatory patients outside of home. Entertains patient by reading, talking, listening to individual, upon request. *The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Job Qualifications Education: Highschool Diploma/GED Certified CPR Negative TB skin test or Chest X-ray Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, must be able to stand, walk, squat, twist, reach, bend, pull and push Have reliable transportation Driver's license and a good driving record, reliable automobile with proof of insurance Certification from an accredited HHA or CNA school Experience: At least 1 year of related experience Dependable, reliable and compassionate Skills Excellent verbal and written communication, Active listening, Service orientation Monitoring, Critical thinking. #J-18808-Ljbffr GRACEFUL HEARTS SERVICES LLC
