School Psychologist - Flint, MI

This contract role runs from August 17, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week. You'll be providing critical services to a diverse student population with mild to moderate disabilities, managing a caseload of approximately 60 students. What Were Looking For: Active Michigan School Psychologist Certification or Preliminary School Psychologist Certification Ability to provide a copy of official university transcripts before district consideration Experience in school psychology or relevant agency settings preferred Thorough understanding of special education policy and procedures Strong skills in conducting comprehensive psychological assessments Proven ability to collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, and administrators Outstanding communicator, able to present findings respectfully and clearly to families and school teams Committed to professional growth and willing to participate in ongoing training Must be able to work onsite; virtual services are not available for this role Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement early identification and intervention strategies for students showing academic, social, or emotional concerns Conduct in-depth evaluations covering cognitive, academic, adaptive, and social-emotional domains Support consistency in special education practices across assigned buildings Foster a collaborative environment with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders Stay up to date with best practices and regulatory changes through professional development Perform additional duties as assigned Enjoy a role with comprehensive benefits included and the chance to make a real difference in students lives.
