Regional Sales Manager - Concrete Construction Chemicals New York / New Jersey We are working with a growing manufacturer in the concrete construction chemicals space seeking a Regional Sales Manager to support continued growth across the New York / New Jersey market. This is a field-facing, relationship-driven role focused on growing business with distributors, contractors, architects, engineers, DOT, and municipal stakeholders throughout the region. It is a strong fit for someone who understands specification-driven selling, technical product support, and how to drive pull-through sales across concrete repair, waterproofing, grouts, epoxies, and related specialty construction materials. Position Overview The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new business, growing existing accounts, strengthening distributor relationships, and expanding market presence across the territory. This individual will serve as a key commercial resource in the region while helping drive long-term growth through both direct customer engagement and channel support. Key Responsibilities
• Develop and grow relationships with distributors, contractors, architects, engineers, DOT, and municipal accounts
• Generate new business while expanding existing customer relationships throughout the territory
• Conduct jobsite visits, customer meetings, product demonstrations, and follow-up activity
• Support distributor growth through training, product education, and ongoing field engagement
• Communicate the value of the company's products and systems across project-driven applications
• Identify and pursue specification opportunities and project-based sales activity
• Work closely with internal teams to support territory growth, customer service, and overall execution
• Maintain visibility into pipeline activity, account development, and growth opportunities Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in construction materials, concrete chemicals, waterproofing, coatings, or related technical sales environments
• Strong understanding of distributor and contractor-driven sales channels
• Experience calling on architects, engineers, DOT, municipalities, or other project stakeholders preferred
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and market-development skills
• Self-driven and comfortable managing a regional territory with regular travel
• Ability to support both strategic account growth and day-to-day field sales activity Preferred Experience
• Concrete repair, grouts, waterproofing, sealers, epoxies, or related specialty construction products
• Background in specification-driven or project-based sales environments
• Experience supporting distributor partners and driving pull-through business in the field Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary + commission opportunity.
