Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Experience in a school setting or with student behavior management is highly valued
• Credentials or certifications required as determined by local guidelines
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to supporting student success
• Flexibility to work with a range of age groups in K-8

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in daily classroom activities, adapting lessons to meet individual student needs
• Provide direct, hands-on support to students, including those with behavioral or learning differences
• Help create an encouraging, safe learning environment for all students
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and support staff
• Monitor student progress and report observations to team members
• Foster independence and confidence in students through positive reinforcement

The role offers 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, making it ideal for those seeking regular daytime hours within a school-community setting.
