Position Description The City of Carlisle is accepting applications for Reserve Police Officers. Reserve Officers are volunteer positions but all equipment is provided. Minimum Application Requirements 21 years of age United States Citizen High school diploma or equivalent Possess valid OPOTA Basic Police Certificate at time of hire How To Apply All interested applicants must complete a required entrance examination with the National Testing Network. Information regarding location, test dates and test fees by the National Testing Network can be found at Register with National Testing Network and select Carlisle Police Department as your department of interest. Select your preferred local testing facility. Note: The computer-based examination is only offered on selected dates and at selected testing facilities. Applicants are encouraged to register early with the National Testing Network to ensure that they are able to complete the test by the required deadline. Application Submission Complete the City of Carlisle Police Application and submit to: City of Carlisle Attn: Police Chief 760 Central Avenue Carlisle, Ohio 45005 The submitted applications and entrance exam results will be reviewed by the Carlisle Police Department. Selected applicants will be contacted to participate in a required physical fitness examination, extensive background investigation, polygraph, and psychological exam.
