Compensation: Hourly Rate - $450/hr, Overtime - $600/hr, Holiday - $720/hr.

Monday-Friday

8-Hour Days

40 Hours Per Week

Typical Shift: 7:30 AM-4:00 PM

Schedule Includes Outpatient Procedures, Inpatient Procedures, and Clinic Time

First Day Reserved for Orientation Tasks

Average Volume: Approximately 15 Patients Per Day

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide Inpatient and Outpatient Gastroenterology Coverage

Perform Gastroenterology Procedures

Provide Clinic Coverage

Perform Rounding and Admissions

Order and Interpret Capsule Endoscopy

Order and Interpret Esophageal Manometry

Provide General and Advanced Gastroenterology Services

Flexible Sigmoidoscopy

Capsule Endoscopy

Esophageal Manometry

Polypectomy

Biopsy

Endoscopic Hemostasis

Stricture Dilation

Argon Plasma Coagulation (APC)

Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) Placement

Outpatient PEG Replacement

Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)

ERCP Sampling

ERCP Stent Placement

ERCP Stone Extraction

ERCP Dilation

Cholangioscopy

Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) With Interventions

Bravo pH

Support Staff

Requirements

BLS - Required

Advanced GI Training - Required

Epic Experience - Required

At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Gastroenterology - Required

COVID-19 Vaccination - Required, No Exemptions

BLS Must Be From the American Heart Association or American Red Cross as Applicable

Recent Clinical Activity Requirements

Gastroenterology Case Logs From the Previous 24 Months - Required

Must Provide Documentation of Gastroenterology Services Representative of the Scope and Complexity of Requested Privileges

Providers Who Completed Training Within the Previous Year Must Provide a Training Log

For Double Balloon Enteroscopy or Capsule Endoscopy Training Completed Within the Previous 2 Years, Documentation of Supervised Training on Human Subjects and a Supervising Physician Letter Attesting to Independent Clinical Competence Are Required

For Training Completed More Than 2 Years Ago, Documentation of Ongoing Clinical Practice for Each Requested Privilege Is Required
