Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our Special Education Program as a Mental Health Specialist. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to work remotely from Breckenridge, Colorado, within a supportive hospice center environment, focusing on enhancing the emotional and mental health of students with diverse special needs.

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to engage with a diverse student population while benefiting from a supportive network of professionals. You will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the potential for occasional evening shifts and weekend rotations. On-call availability may be required to ensure coverage during urgent mental health needs.

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations for students, considering educational, social, and emotional factors that impact their learning.

• Craft and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on each student’s mental health, behavioral challenges, and overall integration into the educational setting.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to address a spectrum of issues, including ASD, learning disabilities, emotional distress, and trauma recovery.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing techniques that improve emotional regulation and coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate closely with educators, speech and occupational therapists, and other specialists to coordinate care that emphasizes student well-being and learning success.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring student safety and accessing appropriate resources.
\n
• Educate students and their families on mental health conditions, intervention strategies, and available resources for additional support.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports in alignment with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in regular team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development to enhance service delivery and teamwork.
\n
• Stay informed about current regulations, best practices, and ethical guidelines within the mental health and educational fields.

This role focuses on students aged 3-21 with special educational needs, particularly those facing challenges related to social-emotional skills, learning processes, trauma interactions, and behavioral management. You will directly contribute to shaping the mental health landscape for these individuals, aiming for their successful integration into both educational and social environments.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid LCSW licensure in Colorado.
\n
• Proficient understanding of mental health disorders, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based interventions.

• Ability to conduct mental health assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in therapeutic practices, both individual and group settings.
\n
• Strong skills in crisis management and the ability to navigate high-stress scenarios effectively.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating collaborative work with various stakeholders.

• Commitment to ethical practice and professional boundaries.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience working with diverse populations in educational settings.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and reporting.
