Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility while supporting the well-being of our students. As part of our Mental Health Team, you will work closely with other professionals to facilitate an inclusive environment that fosters growth and learning. Your work schedule will typically be Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends required.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students exhibiting diverse special needs, ensuring a deep understanding of their unique challenges.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's mental health and emotional needs, monitoring progress and adjusting approaches as necessary.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, addressing conditions such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and emotional and behavioral disorders through individual and group sessions.

• Collaborate with educators, speech and occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic and cohesive care strategies.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support during mental health emergencies, utilizing strong crisis management skills.
\n
• Educate students and families on mental health issues, resources, and coping strategies through informative psychoeducation sessions.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development activities to stay updated on current practices and foster collaborative growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with students who have special needs, including but not limited to those with ASD, learning disabilities, trauma histories, and emotional and behavioral disorders. These children often face significant challenges in their educational journey, and your role will be pivotal in facilitating their emotional well-being and integration into the school community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LCSW license in the state of Colorado.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and a practice grounded in trauma-informed care.

• Exceptional abilities in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments, devising, and implementing effective treatment plans.

• Experience in providing individual and group therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic approaches.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with sound judgment and ethical integrity.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring effective documentation and care coordination.

Preferred Experience\n

We highly prefer candidates who possess at least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, particularly those with a focus on children and adolescents with special needs. Your ability to effectively engage with a multidisciplinary team will also be critical for success in this role.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary suitable to your expertise and experience, ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually.
