Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students to identify needs and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique challenges.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapy sessions, aimed at fostering emotional regulation, coping skills, and personal growth.

• Work collaboratively with educators, speech and occupational therapists, and other specialists to provide a holistic approach to mental health care.

• Respond to mental health crises with appropriate interventions, ensuring safety and support for students in distress.

• Engage families through psychoeducation, providing them with resources and strategies to support their children's mental health needs.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of the clinical process.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development to stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves students enrolled in our Special Education Program. The individuals you will work with may exhibit a range of mental health concerns, including ASD, ADHD, and various emotional disturbances. Your efforts will directly support their emotional and psychological well-being, influencing their educational success and personal development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Texas.

• Proficient in conducting mental health assessments and developing comprehensive treatment strategies.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.

• Sound judgment, ethical practice, and a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience preferred, specifically within a school or special education setting.

• Experience delivering individual and group therapy in an educational context.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
