Key Responsibilities\n

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in-depth mental health assessments to identify and understand the unique needs of each student.

• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that focus on emotional health, social integration, and overall well-being.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions that promote emotional regulation, coping skills, and personal development.

• Employing evidence-based therapeutic interventions specifically designed for children with ASD, ADHD, and emotional/behavioral challenges.

• Collaborating with educators, occupational therapists, and speech therapists to coordinate care that addresses the educational and emotional needs of students.

• Providing crisis intervention support to handle emergent mental health situations effectively.

• Delivering psychoeducation that empowers students and families with knowledge about mental health and available resources.

• Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation in line with legal and ethical standards.

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse student population that includes children facing various challenges such as ASD, learning disabilities, and emotional and behavioral disorders. Your expertise will be crucial in uncovering their potential and aiding their emotional stability, which in turn enhances their academic performance and social interactions.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from a regionally accredited institution.

• A current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Georgia.

• Demonstrated excellent communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with students, families, and team members.

• Good understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment options.

Preferred Experience\n
