Job Description Job Description Job Title: Human Resource Assistant - Hybrid Location: Boca Raton, FL Schedule: MondayFriday, between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM ET Work Arrangement: Hybrid 3 days onsite per week Job Summary We are seeking a bilingual Human Resource Assistant / Tier 1 HR Advisor who is fluent in Portuguese and English to support employees and managers with HR-related questions and requests. The HR Advisor will serve as a first point of contact for HR inquiries through phone, chat, text, and other communication channels. This position will research employee questions, provide accurate and timely solutions, process HR transactions, document cases, and escalate complex issues when necessary. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of HR experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume HR service environment. Key Responsibilities Serve as a first-level HR contact for employees and managers. Respond to HR inquiries through phone, chat, text, and other communication channels. Research and resolve questions related to HR policies, processes, and employee lifecycle activities. Perform day-to-day HR transactions using Workday and other HR systems. Provide guidance and assistance with Workday, Kronos, and related HR tools. Accurately document employee interactions, issues, and resolutions in the case management system. Maintain complete and professional case notes and records. Escalate complex or sensitive issues to Tier 2 HR specialists or HR management. Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and company information. Follow HR policies, procedures, service-level agreements (SLAs), and performance metrics. Provide professional, efficient, and courteous customer service. Identify recurring employee issues and communicate trends or opportunities for process improvement. Collaborate with HR colleagues, managers, and internal stakeholders to resolve employee concerns. Support continuous improvement of HR service processes and communications. Required Qualifications Associate's degree required. 1+ year of experience in Human Resources, such as: HR Administration HR Coordination HR Generalist Talent Acquisition / Recruiting Employee Services HR Operations Fluent in Portuguese and English required . Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to handle multiple inquiries in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Workday, Kronos, or other HRIS platforms. Previous experience in an HR Service Center, Shared Services, Contact Center, or Employee Services environment. Experience handling employee inquiries through phone, chat, or ticketing/case-management systems. Knowledge of HR processes and employee lifecycle activities. Staffing the Universe
