Shift: Day Shift | Monday – Friday | 40 Hours/Week
Hours: Mon, Wed & Fri: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | Tue & Thu: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay: $20 - $24/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support front-office and back-office operations, including patient intake, clinical procedures, scheduling, documentation, and patient support.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, in addition to externship.

• Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred.

• Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required.

• EMR experience required.

• Front-office and back-office medical experience.

• Experience with EKG and Point-of-Care (POC) testing.

• Experience scheduling appointments, rooming patients, and obtaining vital signs.

• BLS or CPR certification.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, computer, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support front-office and back-office clinical operations.

• Greet and room patients and prepare examination rooms.

• Obtain and document patient vital signs.

• Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture procedures.

• Administer vaccines according to established protocols.

• Perform EKG and Point-of-Care (POC) testing.

• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.

• Answer incoming calls and assist patients with questions.

• Assist providers and clinical staff with examinations and patient care.

• Maintain accurate patient information and documentation in the EMR.

• Maintain examination rooms and ensure supplies are properly stocked.

• Provide additional clinical and administrative support as needed.

• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.

• Maintain a collaborative relationship with center staff.

• Support health education and outreach initiatives.
