Medical Front Desk Receptionist

Job Description Solano Dermatology Associates is seeking a professional, friendly, and highly organized Front Desk Coordinator to join our busy and growing dermatology practice in Vallejo. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced medical environment, enjoys helping patients, and understands the importance of excellent customer service, teamwork, and efficiency. Our front desk team plays a critical role in creating a positive patient experience while supporting providers and maintaining smooth daily operations. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth Answer incoming multi-line phone calls promptly and efficiently Schedule appointments and manage provider templates Verify insurance information and collect patient payments Maintain accurate patient demographics and documentation Respond to patient questions and assist with office flow Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and staff Manage front office tasks including scanning, filing, and referrals Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times Qualifications Previous medical front desk or customer service experience preferred Strong phone etiquette and communication skills Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Positive attitude with strong teamwork skills Comfortable using electronic medical records and computer systems Dermatology experience is a plus, but not required What we’re looking for in the ideal candidate is someone who: Stays calm and professional under pressure Takes initiative and works efficiently Understands the importance of patient care and responsiveness Is dependable and willing to support team goals Communicates kindly and effectively with both patients and coworkers Benefits, eligible full-time employees may receive: Medical, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and paid holidays 401(k) Employee discounts Opportunities for growth and advancement Schedule Full-time Monday–Friday Day shift Pay Competitive hourly pay based on experience, starting at $22-$24/hr. #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City, LLC
