Join our team as a Cook Supervisor! We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cook Supervisor to lead our dietary department in a caring and resident-focused Personal Care Home. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality meal service, maintaining food safety standards, and supervising kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and prepare nutritious menus that meet residents' dietary needs and preferences.
• Coordinate and prepare meals for residents requiring special diets, including therapeutic and modified diets.
• Manage food and supply inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen.
• Monitor and supervise kitchen staff performance.
• Create and manage staff schedules and assist with staffing coverage as needed.
• Train, support, and mentor dietary team members.
• Maintain accurate records related to food production, inventory, and safety requirements.
• Work collaboratively with management and healthcare staff to meet resident needs.

Qualifications:

• Safe Food Handling Certification (SafeServe/Food Safe Certification) required.
• Previous supervisory experience in a healthcare, long-term care, personal care home, or institutional food service setting preferred.
• Knowledge of menu planning, inventory management, and special dietary requirements.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care and service.

Schedule: Full-time position. Must be available to work every other weekend. Flexibility to assist with staffing coverage when required.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
