Job Description

Work Hours:

Work Hours: Monday - Thursday 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM; Fridays 9 AM - 4 PM
Work Hours: Monday, 8:00 AM.–3:30 PM; and Tuesday–Friday 8:00 AM.–1:00 PM

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:

ANY BACKGROUND IN HEALTHCARE WILL DO!
High school education or Ged
Must be comfortable with the job duties

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receive and open specimens delivered to the laboratory for analysis
Review and document acceptability of specimen and chain of custody forms
Destroy specimens; as needed
Clean and maintain work area daily
Inspect all trash bags once aliquoting process is completed to ensure sample and document removal
Process Triage request
Assist Sample Handling area
Prepare samples for shipment
Adhere to all security procedures for ensuring confidentiality of donor information
Must comply with company policy
