Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct standard and advanced laboratory tests-covering areas such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology-according to established procedures.
• Evaluate test outcomes for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance alongside calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analytical processing as required.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all procedures, help train new personnel or interns, and play a part in upholding laboratory quality standards.
• Promote a clean and secure work atmosphere while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within your first year of employment.
• Ensure ongoing certification is maintained throughout your tenure.
