Locum - Physician - Surgery - Vascular

**Coverage Details:** - **Coverage Dates:** Start date on January 1, 2027; five consecutive days of coverage each month. - **Schedule:** Five days weekly with on-call duties, including potential weekend shifts.

- **Call Type:** Combination of Beeper/Phone Call and In-House

**Patient Demographics:**

- **Population:** 100% Adult and Geriatric

- **Care Setting:** 100% Inpatient - 

**Average Patient Volume:** 10-15 patients daily

- **Trauma Level Designation:** Level 1

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

- Expected to manage surgical procedures and provide coverage for Inpatient (IP) units and Emergency Department (ED). - **EMR System:** Utilize EPIC for documentation.

**Credentialing Information:**

- **Estimated Credentialing Timeline:** Approximately 120 days

- **Availability of Temporary Coverage:** Yes

**Shift Details:**

- Coverage entails five consecutive days weekly, including on-call from 7 AM to 7 AM with no outpatient clinic responsibilities.

**Mandatory Qualifications:** - **Board Certification:** Vascular Surgery (Required)

- **Active Ohio License:** Preferred

- **Certifications:** BLS and ACLS (Required)

- **Fellowship:** Required

- **Background Check:** Must have a clean record—no malpractice or licensing issues allowed.
