A Shift: 12-hour rotating schedule w/ hours of 8am-8pm - working every other weekend due to shift rotation

Hourly Rate: $28-$32 Per Hour Dependent Upon Experience/Skills

Position Overview

\n

The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. Performs preventive maintenance using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and supports continuous improvement efforts. Must work safely, independently, and with attention to detail. Works A Shift - 12-hour rotating schedule w/ hours of 8am-8pm - working every other weekend due to shift rotation.

What you'll do

\n

\n
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues from power distribution to controls
\n
• Use CMMS to create, manage and complete maintenance work orders
\n
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and part catalogs for accurate repairs
\n
• Research and requisition parts to support repairs/stores replenishment.
\n
• Support bi-annual facility shutdowns and occasional call-in maintenance needs
\n
• Participate in lean/process improvement initiatives and suggest process improvements
\n
• Conduct weekly Gemba walk to identify and address opportunities
\n
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment including weekly departmental deep cleaning
\n
• All other duties as assigned
\n

  Who you are

\n

\n
• High school diploma or GED required; technical school training or 5+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
\n
• Skilled in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
\n
• Proficient in using hand and power tools, multi-meters, amp clamps, etc.
\n
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, and parts catalogs
\n
• Comfortable with MS Office suite, Outlook Email, CMMS software
\n
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to following protocols
\n
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
\n
• Effective communicator and team player
\n
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing frequent bending, squatting, and walking
\n
• Comfortable working in noisy, hot, cold, or dusty manufacturing environments
\n
• Rotating 12-hour Schedule: A Shift - 8am-8pm - working every other weekend due to shift rotation
\n
• Overtime and call-in work may be required
\n
