This is an upper division studio course that meets on Tuesdays, 1-4:50 PM. Successful candidates will demonstrate a rich and varied background in photography and digital art that explores the environment and environmental issues. Course Description The course investigates a broad range of artistic practices and contemporary artists who comment on and shape current environmental debates and their interpretation through digital media. Includes experimentation with conceptual approaches to art making and developing aesthetic strategies for engaging audiences. A master's degree or equivalent experience Current portfolio of studio-based work in relevant media Teaching experience at the college level or equivalent Per the California State University’s Out-of-State Employment Policy, the CSU is prohibited from hiring employees to perform CSU-related work outside California. Salary commensurate with degree level and experience Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5,507 - $8,000 per full-time month The salary schedule information for the Lecturer – Academic Year Classification is available based on the following ranges: CSU Classification Salary Range Lecturer A - AY: $5,507 - $6,677 per full-time month CSU Classification Salary RangeLecturer B - AY: $6,221 - $13,224 per full-time month The anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience.
