*Must take a weld test
Position Summary
The Welder I is responsible for performing welding tasks on various vehicle components, including truck bodies and chassis. This role requires proficiency in AWS 3G/4G welding techniques and the ability to interpret blueprints and fabrication instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations using AWS 3G/4G techniques.
- Modify and rework vehicle components such as cabs and chassis.
- Fabricate components from raw stock as needed.
- Read and follow detailed operator instructions, installation drawings, and blueprints.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
