Job Description Manage construction and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, legal memoranda, and settlement agreements Propound and respond to written discovery and manage document production Conduct and defend depositions and attend court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations Analyze construction contracts, project records, payment disputes, delay claims, and change orders Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, consultants, and court personnel Assist with case strategy, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations Manage court deadlines, filing requirements, and multiple active matters Qualifications Juris Doctor and active membership with the California State Bar 2-10 years of civil litigation or other relevant legal experience Construction litigation experience preferred Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills Ability to independently manage assignments and multiple deadlines Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong professional judgment and client communication skills Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
