Job Description

• Create Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess patient needs and develop individualized therapy plans that empower them to reach their personal functional goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply proven methodologies to boost patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and essential daily living skills.
• Collaborate within Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in synergy with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive, holistic care tailored to each individual.
• Instruct Patients and Caregivers: Provide education to patients and their families on therapeutic strategies to encourage continuous improvement at home.
• Monitor Progress: Consistently document clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on the right track.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Encouragement and support for ongoing education or advanced certifications.

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory.
