Generalist Writer for AI Quality Evaluation [Remote]

Role Overview

Help improve the accuracy, reliability, and overall performance of next-generation AI systems by evaluating written content and AI-generated responses. This remote contract role calls for precise writing judgment, analytical thinking, and consistent application of detailed evaluation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review written content and AI-generated responses for accuracy, coherence, completeness, and overall quality.
• Compare outputs against detailed instructions, guidelines, and defined evaluation criteria.
• Provide clear, actionable written feedback that is precise, consistent, and objective.
• Identify discrepancies, ambiguities, factual issues, errors, and opportunities to improve written responses.
• Document findings systematically using provided evaluation tools, guidelines, and reporting formats.

Qualifications

• Native US English speaker with exceptional grammar, syntax, tone, and written communication skills.
• Professional experience in writing, editing, proofreading, content review, or another writing-intensive role.
• Strong attention to detail, including the ability to identify subtle inconsistencies and errors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and precision.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and maintain quality across a high volume of work.
• Comfort following detailed instructions and applying evaluation criteria consistently.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess information objectively and deliver concise, constructive feedback.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement available to candidates located in the United States or Western Europe.
• Immediate availability is required.
• Commitment of at least 20 hours per week is required throughout the engagement.

Compensation

$40 to $50 per hour.
