Mortgage Loan Processor Location: Terre Haute, IN, Carmel, IN, Fort Wayne, IN, Clarksville, TN, or Evansville, IN (Onsite) Status: Full-Time, Hourly Non-Exempt What You’ll Do Coordinate the process: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, loan originators, real estate agents, and vendors throughout the mortgage lifecycle. Review and prepare files: Conduct initial application reviews and ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and ready for underwriting. Collect and verify documentation: Gather required information, validate details, and resolve discrepancies to keep loans moving forward. Track and communicate status: Monitor loan progress, follow up on outstanding items, and provide timely updates to all parties. Maintain systems and records: Manage loan files and updates ensuring proper documentation throughout the process. Support underwriting: Perform basic financial calculations and assist in evaluating loan applications against guidelines. Ensure compliance: Follow underwriting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies while maintaining confidentiality. Stay current and support the team: Keep up with mortgage regulations and assist with team initiatives, including customer support and occasional outreach efforts. What We’re Looking For Associate degree with 1+ years of business experience, or 2+ years of related experience Previous residential mortgage lending experience preferred Customer-facing experience in a financial services environment preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities Proficiency in mortgage systems (e.g., Encompass) and Microsoft Office Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 75% of an eight (8) hour workday.
