This full-service acute care hospital offers comprehensive medical, surgical, emergency, and specialty services to the adult patient population. The facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support inpatient neurointerventional surgery coverage across all designated coverage periods. On-site resources are in place to facilitate coordinated patient care delivery for each assigned shift.

Richmond, Virginia offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of historical, cultural, and outdoor attractions suited to varied interests. The James River runs through the area and supports outdoor activities including hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and rock climbing within the James River Park System. The area also features museums dedicated to American Civil War and Holocaust history, landmarks such as Belle Isle and the Canal Walk, guided food tours, public art, and a calendar of community events throughout the year.

The clinician will provide inpatient neurointerventional surgery coverage for adult patients, responding to code strokes and managing post-procedure care throughout each assigned shift. Shifts are structured as 12-hour assignments, either 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with three shifts scheduled per week. Night shift availability is required for this assignment. No call coverage is required, and prescriptive authority must be maintained for the duration of the engagement.
